Do I Need My Own Instrument?
Not necessarily. Ashby Concert Band has a number of instruments available for members to loan, so please get in touch even if you don’t currently own one.

Rehearsals
Ashby Concert Band rehearses every week (term time) in Ashby‑de‑la‑Zouch, bringing together woodwind, brass and percussion players from across Leicestershire. Our rehearsals are friendly, supportive and focused on making great music while having fun.
We work on a wide range of repertoire — from film scores and classical arrangements to swing, marches and contemporary pieces — all in preparation for our concerts and community performances throughout the year.
If you’re thinking about joining us, you’re very welcome to come along for a trial rehearsal. It’s a great way to meet the band, get a feel for our music and see whether we’re the right fit for you.
